The Museum of Torquay is located in the English Riviera and  offers visitors a fascinating insight into the history of the English Riviera including its prehistoric past dating back 400 million years!

One of the main attractions for younger visitors is the interactive Explorers Gallery. The gallery will take them on a journey around the world to discover cultures, objects and artifacts from the past and present that will intrigue their curious minds.

The Gallery has plenty of  artefacts from all over the world to discover, as well as from the famous excavations at Kent’s Cavern undertaken by William Pengelly which were pivotal in furthering the nation’s knowledge of the origins of man.
