    Curitiba’s Tingüi Park is one of the main parks in the city that is popular with tourist and locals alike. The park is one of a number of parks built along the banks of the river Barigüi that runs through the city.

    Visitors are able to walk, cycle or jog alongside the river using the tracks layout. There are also designated sporting areas and areas for barbecues and picnics.

    Visitors are also able to enjoy the lakes in the park in addition to a covered wooden bridge, playgrounds for younger children, and plenty more including the Ukrainian Memorial – the memorial was built in 1995 to commemorate the centenary of Ukrainian immigration in Brazil. Visitors are also be able to see the bronze statue of Chief Tindiqüera who was the leader of the Tingüi tribe.

    The park is home to many of the cities museums including the Capão da Imbuia Woods and the Sacred Art Museum of Curitiba.
